You have been studying English for a while and have a knowledge of grammar and vocabulary. But you know you need more practice listening and speaking in actual conversations.
That’s where I can help.
We schedule a meeting in person, whenever possible, or over Zoom. Meetings are one-on-one, or you can grab a friend or two, or we can get together as a whole class. Before our session, and once I get to know you and your interests, I will send a podcast or TED Talk to listen to on your own. We will then schedule time for a lively discussion and the opportunity for you to practice your speaking and listening through actual conversations.
About Me
One of my favorite things is to meet new people, share ideas, and learn about new places and cultures. I’ve been teaching English for over a decade, first in-person and, since Covid, also over Zoom. My students are from all over the world including Japan, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Republic of Georgia, Spain, Portugal, Mali, Gabon, and many countries in Latin America. I have a Bachelor and Master’s degree from George Washington University, Washington, DC, and am a certified ESL teacher through Cambridge University (CELTA).
